FASHION TALK AT DESIGN FESTIVAL

Yesterday we´re invited to join a fashion talk in our home town (Gävle, Sweden) where they arrange a design festival. The purpose of the night was to share our vision about sustainability and sharing our holistic approach when it comes to circular fashion. We were joined by other young talented designers showing their work and it was so much fun strolling around looking at all the local designers and their beautiful work.

With us, on stage, there were other inspiring people who in different ways work towards a more sustainable, equal and fair future. We were for example happy to meet the incredible changemaker Lovette Jallow who wrote Black Vouge; Europe’s first beauty manual for darker skin tones again as a way of showing that beauty has no colour and all shades should be worthy of celebration. 2017 she sprung to acction and organized what would become one of the largest demonstrations against modern-day slavery in Sweden with over 7000 attendees and powerful speakers. A human right acitivist with focus on feminism she´s encouraging and sharing tools that anyone can use in daily life in order to tackle racism and exclusion. So inspiring and so needed. We are humble and proud to be on stage with this incredible woman and grateful for sharing her journey.

An beautiful evening with lots of sharing and learning - thank you Gävles Unga for having us and thanks to all of you changemakers who joined the show. Can´t wait to come talking again soon!
