A COLLABORATION IN ORDER TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Gender equality is not just a women’s issue – it is a human rights issue. 1 in 3 women worldwide experience violence during their lifetime. Violence against women and girls is a human rights violation, and the immediate and long-term physical, sexual, and mental consequences for women and girls can be devastating, including death. All human life benefits when women’s human rights are upheld, and we all suffer when those rights are abused. To truly change the world we need to stand together.

 

In order to walk our talk we are both thrilled and proud to announce that we have teamed up with UN Women Sweden, an organization dedicated to global gender equality and the empowerment of women. Your choice of wearing Cornelia Sun will therefore not only make you stand out in general – but particularly also stand up – for women's rights. 100 SEK from each sold piece selected from our 'HeForShe' line will go directly to support their important work. This specific collection is created based on the idea of engaging men to take action for gender equality. During November we also donate 100 SEK from each sold garment of our whole collection online to and take a stand against violence against women and highlight Orange Day - The International UN Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on the 25 of November.
