SHARE YOUR LOVE STORY

Fashion Revolution Week is our #whomademyclothes campaign in April, which falls on the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which killed 1138 people and injured many more on 24th April 2013. That is the day Fashion Revolution was born. During this week, brands and producers are encouraged to respond with the hashtag #imadeyourclothes and to demonstrate transparency in their supply chain.

Fashion Revolution strives to be action-oriented and solution focused. Rather than making people feel guilty, we help them recognize that they have the power to do something to make a positive change. To us, style is knowing that the hands who made our clothes are happy hands and therefore is also transparency an important piece in our work with sustainability.

Our garments are still designed by us in Sweden but since 2014 proudly produced by small family-run businesses in Kathmandu, Nepal. Meet the amazing people behind our clothes and don´t hesitate to contact us personally if you have any further questions.

As citizens, we know from lessons we are learning from the current pandemic, that we can begin this revolution within our own wardrobes, buying only what we’ll cherish for years to come, and by caring and repairing.
As a consumer, you do have the power to close the loop in fashion and it´s not that complicated as you might think. We´ll always ask you one basic question before you go ahead and make a purchase; will you truly love this piece of art? If the answer is 'yes' – your time has come to not only make history, but HERstory. Look at your garment as your canvas, with a first chapter written by your global sister. The story ahead is yours to experience and we wish you a life long adventure.

My sister and I have been joining the fashion revolution movement years back and this particular week is of course an important time of the year. We often call ourselves “pro-fashion protesters” because we love fashion and want to see it become a force for good. Today we decided to make a shout out to highlight overconsumption in order to find solutions to make our clothes last longer.
Therefore, we encourage you to share your love story in order to show that loved clothes last.

All our clothing come with memories embedded in each print and you are the co-creator who writes the future chapters. This is us: Lisa and Julia, sisters and co-founders of this collective. We love going barefoot, eat oatmeal and have flowers in our hair. We wear our kimonos to work, when we go dancing and while napping at the beach. Sustainability is our guiding light and education is key. We believe in the good things coming and we know the power lay within all of us.   This is our story – what are you up to today?

Use our hashtag #corneliasuncollective and tag @corneliasuncollective in your post for the opportunity to get featured in our story.
Wear the change, be the change – we can´t wait to spread the magic and color this world into a more sustainable, fair place to be.
Together we do not only make history, but also make sure herstory matters.

It´s time for a fashion revolution – let´s change the world with style.
